Small Words Can Have Giant Impacts

They've made me feel like a prisoner.
They've made me feel set free.
They've made me feel like a criminal.
Made me feel like a king.

They've lifted my heart to places I'd never been.
And they've dragged me down back to where I began.

Words can build you up.
Words can break you down.
Start a fire in your heart, or put it out.

Let my words be life.
Let my words be truth.
I don't want to say a word unless it points the world back to You.
Words by Hawk Nelson

For the past few weeks, this song has been in my mind. I cannot shake it. I have an awful habit of letting my words leave my mouth before I fully think them through. I want to work on this. My goal is to glorify God with my words. Nothing impure should leave my lips because my words reflect what is in my heart.

Currently, I am

-finishing up with homework for the night.
-searching pinterest just for the joy of it.
-flipping out over a late birthday package in the mail. (I LOVE YOU, GIRL.)
-thanking said friend for a wonderful Captain America t-shirt along with my own copy of Divergent. *insert fangirl squealing*
-thanking friend's sister for my new One Direction t-shirt. Y'all are the best!
-trying to get over the sickness that Sierra and Meena passed on to me. Somehow you transferred the virus to me through the computer. Your skills boggle my mind.
-failing a staring contest with my cat.
-getting excited about prom on Friday.

Sweet dreams, lovelies. I am off to bed.
