Allegiant ~ A reflection post {No spoilers}

"It was just a book."

My expression morphs from showcasing my bewilderment to one of masked pain. Do they not realize how much of my life was invested in those pages?

"They were fictitious characters."

For me, they were entirely real. I could count on the characters of these books to be there for me even after weeks of separation due to forgetting them on the bookshelf. They were always prepared to lend a hug whenever I needed a hand to hold or a laugh to brighten my day. I felt as if we shared a connection.

"Why would you care so deeply about a book series?"

It is through this series that I bonded with an amazing group of individuals. Without these books, I would have never been introduced to the most flawless fangirls I have ever met. (       )

"None of it was real."

No, I will admit that. Everything was fictional. But the truths that they taught me were not. These books inspired me to be more kind to others, embrace my fears, hunger for knowledge, be honest even when it can be painful, and demonstrate a selfless love for everyone I encounter.

"It's not like that was the last book the author was ever going to write."

For two years, I have been reading this series and anxiously awaiting the day when all of my questions could finally be answered in the final book. Now that this day has arrived and the mesmerizing experience of reading the book for the first time is complete, it will never provide me with the same thrill. This journey has came to an end and there was no way that I could have prepared myself for the emotional turmoil that I am now experiencing.

"It was just a book."

I know. That's what hurts the most.

I love her. {A friendiversary post}

So I have this friend, who is flawless in so many ways, who decided to inform me this morning by the way of a post on my blog (and to hers) that today is a very special occasion. By her estimation, she has discovered that it has been one year since today that our amazingly hilarious cyber friendship began to bloom. It has also been one year since today that my life changed for the better simply because she is here by my (virtual) side.

There are no words to describe how I feel about Molly but I will give it a shot. She is beautiful, sweet, loving, caring, gorgeously adorable in every way possible, and even though she just told the entire cyber world that my real name is Heather, I don't even mind because she is that amazing.

I mean, just look at her? How could you ever hold a grudge?

She owns a pillow pet, which I think is the coolest thing since sliced Amity bread.

She's also the one who assisted me in coming to the realization that we are both unicorns.

She introduced me to George the Girmoose. He is a giraffe and a moose all at once. I know, it blew my mind as well.

And here she is wearing George's moose antler as a mustache. Such beauty. Such poise.
All in all, Molly is the most phenomenal individual I have received the honor to come across. She has endured my endless squealing (and crying) over fictional characters and real-life people. This girl is also the most hilarious person to Skype with, which is where all of the above pictures derived from. She had a heart for everyone as big as Africa itself. Her smile is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. We have such a blast together, and I absolutely love being able to call her my Amity Happy Bread Buddy.

Dear Molly,
How can you be so flawless?
I'll love you always, darling.
You am so honored to be considered your friend.
I love you (It needed to be said twice to make sure you knew).
You have changed my life.
Your AHBB, Heather

Post Scriptum: These are for you, sweetheart. Good times...good times.

A Friendiversary :)

Hello followers and/or newcomers to this blog. My name is Molly from {Life of an Amity Girl}, you probably don't know me, but today I'm here for a very special post for this very special girl. So this post is dedicated to the beautiful author of this blog, Heather.
You may be wondering why I chose today to post this, well today is Heather and I's one year friendship anniversary, it was a year ago (approximately) today that she and I started talking. That began a BEAUTIFUL friendship and a year full of talking, cyber-hugging, and laughing. A lot. We are both comedy geniuses XD

Anyway, moving on, I cannot tell you how amazing this past year has been, she has been such an amazing friend, I can't even tell you how many times she's made me smile, because I'm not sure if I can count that high. I shall now go on to tell you some of the reasons this girl is absolutely freaking amazing.

1. She is SO nice. I know this sounds cliche or whatever, but she is literally one of the nicest people I've ever talked to in my life. She is so incredible kind, and sees only the best in people. To picture her "hating" anyone just... *robot voice* does. not. compute. She's just so nice to everybody, she'll give anyone a chance and is quick to forgive, she is an amazing person with a beautiful heart, I wish I could be as kind as she is.

2. Alright, I gotta say it, she is ABSOLUTELY hilarious. She never fails to make me laugh,  I've skyped with her and talked on the phone and we laugh non-stop. She has the best sense of humor ever, very similar to mine really which I guess is why I find her to be a comedy genius. Start talking to her, and you will laugh for hours. Especially if you're willing to laugh at yourself, because I can't tell you how many times we've laughed at each other's "blonde moments".

3. She knows how to make me smile. I know this kind of goes along with the last one, but it's a little different. She makes me laugh a ton, but she knows how to make me smile. There have been times where I have sent her endless rants about stuff going on in my life, and she always manages to lift my spirits. She has made me smile even when all I wanted to do was cry. She has helped me through a lot, I'll tell her anything, at first it was simply because she's the only one who can't tell any of my friends what I said, but now it wouldn't matter, I'd trust her with anything.

That up there is just three of the MANY, MANY reasons that Heather is absolutely AMAZING. I love this girl to death, you have no idea, I don't know what I'd do if I lost her. I'd probably just sit in my room and cry for the rest of my life. I don't know what I'd do without her, if we hadn't ever started talking (a year ago :D), maybe we've never met, but she has become such a huge, amazing part of my life.

We're like sisters <3

Oh and....
Dear Heather,
Thank you for being there for me when I needed you most. Thank you for listening when I was ranting, and making me smile when I only wanted to cry. Talking to you always puts me in a good mood. Thank you for always making me laugh, you have the best sense of humor, all the Disney referances make my day. Thank you for sticking by me no matter how weird, awkward, or crazy I am, thank you for being those things with me. Thank you for still thinking I'm sane when I talk about fictional characters like they're, or get stressed out about my "ship problems".
Honestly, I could go on like this for hours, but overall, thank you for being my friend. I couldn't have dreamed up a friend as amazing as you, I can only hope I've been half as good a friend to you as you are to me.
I love you AHBB,
Molly.

Previously mentioned bestest buddy is probably going to make me pay for the bill for damaging her eardrums.
^^^ she also doesn't live in Florida. Bummer.
Tobias isn't real so I can't marry him yet.
My ACT test date is in 8 days. I don't care how many times I take that test, I will always freak out about it.

Before you exit my little blogging world, will you do me a favor by visiting this little website? I have been getting emails from them for a while, but never thought anything of it. It wasn't until today when I opened one about their blogroll, that I realized why they had been sending me these emails. They have an entire list (that you can check out here) of homeschool bloggers that are in high school or are a recent graduate and I am on the top of the list.

whoa. O.O you guys think i am that good? *blushes* y'all are the best.

Long story short, I would love it if you could visit this website, tell them thank you for being awesome, and then go visit a few of the other blogs they are showcasing!

Goodbyes.

How could she have been so careless with her affection?

She gave her heart away only to receive it back marred.

How could she have forgotten how torturous it is to say goodbye?

It was those eyes.

 It was his smile.

It was everything about him that made her fall.

But, gravity is her enemy.

For everything that soars up, must come crashing down.
