Darling, you are beautiful.

I will be the first to admit that I am not satisfied with my body. I never have been. There is no worse critic than I am on myself. It is for that reason that I can relate to every single girl who believes that they are ugly, under-par, or worthless. It is also for that reason that I am qualified to say that every one of you who are under the influence that you are "not good enough" are magnificent in your own way.

Whether you are a size 0 or a size 14.

Despite who sends hateful words your way to break you down.

Although you may be without the coveted "thigh gap."

You are gorgeous.

Even though guys may be damaging to your self esteem.

Whether you are strong enough to ignore the hypnotizing weight-loss advertisements that prance across our television screens.

Although you may overlook the beauty of Marilyn Monroe for a Victoria Secrets model.

You are treasured.

Even though you have those days where you feel like you should place a bag over your head.

Despite being able to chow down on an entire $5 Subway footlong sub (which is a noteworthy accomplishment in my eyes).

Even though your body lacks plastic.

You are perfect.

Even though you may despise everything you witness in the mirror.

Despite your yoga pants and sweatshirt days.

Although you may have once wished you could look like the Barbie dolls you played with in your youth.

You are loved.

If there was a way that I could hug each one of you and explain to you just how gorgeous you are, I would do it in a heart beat. We have all heard the cliche "beYOUtiful," but it is entirely accurate.

No one can be a better you than you.

No one can be a better me than me.

 ♥,
Heather

  2. Wow, that was awesome. (Even if half-dressed women do bug me...). I often wish my hips were smaller, especially because they could be if I are better and exercised. But that's not what matters.
I can only eat a 6inch sub, *sigh* lol.
Seriously though, I am full after that. Oh the days when I was little and all food made me grow upwards lol.

  7. I agree with all of these, but I agree with Hope the most. I love all your posts, but this one is by far my favorite! It made me cry. This is going to help me a lot tonight. I am going to a football game and I was going to think about how skinny all those cheer leaders are and I want to be like them but no. Now that I have seen this..... I am never going to think that. Thank you so much Heather for just being the wonderful girl that you are :)
