My Secret Escape

Books. A gift from God. The ability to completely forget out world and emerge ourselves in another. The gateway to adventure. There is no limits to the lengths I can travel by the assistance of my leather bound friends and my imagination. They give the access to roam the world, having excursions to every place imaginable. My dreams, my fanatsies and my whims of jaunts to far off lands are satisfied, without ever purchasing a passport.

Post scriptum: You all would be proud of me. I went to Regionals science fair, lots of participants and I was one of the three homeschoolers who scored high enough to attend. I placed 3rd in my category :)) Go homeschoolers!

  4. I feel exactly the way you do about books! :) I wrote a poem when I was younger about books. :) Thanks for putting it into words so beautifully! :) I just finished Choosing to SEE by Mary Beth Chapman (a must-read. I'm serious. You MUST read that book!). I'm starting Radical by David Platt. And in school, I just finished The Samurai's Tale. That was a really great read, too!

Great job on the science fair! Did you, ahem, socialize (fellow homeschooler here)? :P

    God bless you!

  5. Joy: I'll definitely be looking into those books! I'm always open to new reads :))
Yes, I did indeed socialize hehe when the other participants were discussing a topic that I knew. But of course when they got into their teachers, fellow students, and what not, I was totally lost haha :P

  6. Hey Jesuschick! I just wanted to answer the question you left on my blog-you asked.... (let me see here...) oh yeah, you asked where I got all those pictures for the Valentine's Day post- actually I think I found all of them on www.etsy.com. I was just searching Valentine's stuff and I love it all. :):)
