Horseback riding :)

My neighbor is completely awesome, just to let you know. For my birthday, she is going to take my sister and I horseback riding for 2 hours out on some trails in the woods behind us! I am so excited and just can't wait! I am going to have to try my best to take some pictures for you guys!

And I'm sorry but I just had to add these gorgeous appys on my post, they're so adorable! My horse in real life is an appy so I am pretty much in love with them ;) ♥♥♥

Cow eyes! :O

Today for Science Club we learned about the human eye. We have been studying the entire human body so, so far we have dissected a frog (for the digestion part) and a sheep brain (for the brain unit) and today, *shudders* we dissected, you guessed it, a cow eye. We learned and saw the pupil, cornea, retina and so much more. After we got everything out, we even turned the entire thing inside out so we could see the tapetum in the back of the eye. The tapetum is why when you shine a flashlight or a regular light at an animal, you see the animal's eyes "shine" while actually they are just reflecting the light. It was pretty cool but disgusting all at the same time. Not the best thing to do right after lunch....before we even ate we were disgusted because we had to watch a video of our science teacher having a lasik eye surgery. Talk about being grossed out. I give props to eye surgeons. I'm sorry, I would never be able to do that job.
Any of you guys dissect anything gross yet for science? I would love to hear about your experience lol!

Prom ;)

This year in one of my homeschool groups, they are having a prom! Now I am not going with a guy ( ;) ) but I am going with a couple friends AND, the best part, my bff is coming down from Indiana to go to the prom with us! I am so excited! And, another awesome thing is that means she will be down around my birthday this year which is amazing and super and awesome and smarticaltasic and tacolicious and well, now I have run out of words that show my enthusiasm. How do you do a screaming and excited smiley because those my emotions right now lol! By the way, SHOUT OUT TO TACOS! You are one of my best friends, i am so lucky to have you , girlie, and I miss you terribly :( I can't wait to see you though ;)

Rifle Competition yesterday

Yesterday was the 4H State Rifle Competition. It was supposed a 3 part competition but due to lack of time we just did the first 2 parts. For the first one I used a semi-automatic scope gun and for the second I used a single shot peep sight gun. (I know, probably speaking in another language lol!) I placed 13th in State which is not that bad and my team that I was with placed 2nd! AND....my friend who was teasing me about how he was going to whoop my butt, I beat his score on 6 out of the 9 targets we shot so whoo hoo! Oh yeah baby!
There was also a high school rodeo last night for our town. It was pretty cool and I saw a bunch of people I knew from public school. The sad part is even though I remember them, I doubt they remember me. Some of them seem to but a lot of them don't and its sad cause some of them I used to be friends with but I guess they get new friends when you leave :( I don't really care because you guys are so much better friends than they were :) I have a feeling that they were just fair weather friends and you guys will be there for me through everything :D

We are the hands and feet of God, people. If we don't serve others, who will? If we don't make an example of ourselves for other people then who will? It is up to us you guys. You can never be too young to do nothing. Even the smallest person (kind of a joke at me being short lol) can help a lot. :) We are here to spread the gospel so more people will know about Him. ♥

In my youth group, on Sunday mornings we are working on Proverbs and I guess I remembered this from there but I started to think about what this verse means exactly. "In all your ways acknowlegde Him"- pretty much, make sure that your works show that you are His child. "and He will make your paths straight."- and he will show you the correct way to walk in life.




I just wanted to share with this with you guys. :)

Green Bay all the way!

Hahahaha yeah the title of this post totally gives away what I was gonna talk about :/ but who cares! Yeah I don't know why I decided to root for Green Bay last night, probably because they are "Green" Bay and that's my fave color. And the color of mah eyes. ;> But they won so whoop whoop! Partay! *does funky dance* We had a fun time over at my grandpa's house for our Super Bowl party and I laughed my head off with "box head people" during the half time show. I mean seriously? How can you dance with a box on your head?!

Other than me and my box head people issues.... the news here with me with bleak. Its raining outside and has been raining all day so it looks gross and unpleasant. We have our homeschool valentine's party tomorrow which should be a blast like always. For some reason I have always loved giving out valentines cards, even though I know they are pointless! I do hope it stops raining....

Softball is starting up soon (whoop whoop!) and it should be fun. I miss playing sports and I probably won't get to play soccer this fall because of stupid high school boys and their foul mouths. :/ Yeah its not fair that I have to suffer just cause their being retards >:(

Yay!

The post office finally decided to quit torturing me (hahaha!) and dropped off the package today that contained my new purity ring! Yay!




As you can hopefully see it is not a solid band but twists. It says " Today, I promise to wait agreeing to stay pure, because I know God loves me and His blessings are in store."

I know, Sophie, I know, its the same one as yours but I couldn't help myself. I saw it online and loved it as soon as I did!

Other than that nothing new. Last night we had Shooting Sports at 4-H and that was awesome as always. I love shooting 22s and archery is a close second. ;)
